Current news
After a reoccurrence of cancer in late 2009, Judy Santos asked Advisory
Board member, Gary Wood to consider assuming leadership of CCN. Through
much prayer and consultation, Gary considered the proposal and confirmed
his sense that God was behind it. Formal transfer took place on February
1, 2010. Judy passed away in early March of 2010. Member coaches confirmed
their sense that this change reflected God’s provision for allowing
CCN to move into the future serving the Christian coaching community.
Founder and how CCN got started
Judy Santos launched the Christian Coaches Network in 1998 to create an
organization around which faith-based Christian coaches could gather for
learning, connection and greater public exposure. Her bold vision and effort
attracted like-minded Christian coaches who shared a vision to collaborate
in professional association and create a conduit between Christians and
trained, professional Christian Coaches.
Judy began coaching full time in 1997, and after graduating from Coach University
in 1998, she later led over one hundred tele-courses, training new coaches.
She was awarded the Master Certified Coach designation in 2004 from the
International Coach Federation and went on to serve on the faculty for the
Institute of Life Coach Training, co-leading the first ICF accredited life
coach training program led from a Christian perspective.
